It is the serial of the season.

Earlier on Sunday, Kalmar took a very valuable point against Sirius and put additional pressure on IFK Gothenburg, who hosted Örebro at Gamla Ullevi.

And it started with a nightmare.

The visiting team went ahead after two minutes of play, scorer as so many times against Nahir Besara.

Drama at the bottom

The Blue and Whites rushed for the equalizer, and Pontus Wernbloom had not just one ball in goal, but two. But they were all convicted of offside. Furthermore, the new acquisition Yahya Kalley had to resign injured and Emil Holm came in his place.

In the second half IFK Gothenburg tried a couple of half chances, but it was never close. Örebro played the match, which ended 1-0. The loss was Blåvitt’s third in a row.

The blue and white are getting closer and closer to a qualifying spot. Falkenberg surprisingly beat Djurgården 3-2 and is now just one point behind FFF. In addition, Helsingborg has a less played match and can beat Gothenburg in case of victory.

– They (IFK Gothenburg) are not sharp enough in the penalty area. The crisis is deepening and an exciting meeting against Helsingborg now awaits us next weekend, says commentator Petra Svensson on Dplay.
