Fredriksen says he is surprised by the news that Huawei cannot participate in the 5G expansion in Sweden.
– Obviously, it is surprising and disappointing that they have chosen that we should not continue to contribute to the digital success that Sweden can achieve by implementing the 5G network.
It also emphasizes that Chinese law requires Chinese companies and citizens to report to the Chinese intelligence service if they discover mysterious items. What do you say about that?
– We have tried to communicate, not only to the Swedish authorities, but also to other customers and authorities, that we are actually a private company owned by employees.

Kenneth Fredriksen says the company follows all local laws and regulations, even if the head office is in China.
