Homemade ice cream truck.
The melody of the ice cream truck will no longer be heard in the Tjärna Ängar area of Borlänge.
This after a group of about 50 children surrounded the car and tried to force the ice cream.
– It is a problem of the work environment, says Anders Granath of Hemglass.
Two areas in Borlänge, Jakobsgårdarna and Tjärna Ängar, will no longer be visited by Hemglassbilen. This after it had been a disaster several times when the ice cream truck came to visit.
The fall was an incident in Tjärna Ängar on Tuesday.
– That’s right, about fifty children stood around the ice cream truck and tried to force our salesman to open the door and give them ice cream, says Hemglass spokesman Anders Granath.
Does not count as theft
Hemglass has contacted the Borlänge franchisee, who has chosen to cancel several stops in the area in the near future.
– It’s sad, but not entirely unusual. Sometimes we plan stops for a while. It can be a matter of a few weeks or months, says Anders Granath.
The Jakobsgårdarna area has also been removed from the Glassbilens route.
The incident received a lot of attention after a Riksdag politician wrote about it on social media. There, on the other hand, the incident was described as a robbery, which is denied by the leaders of the Borlänge police preliminary investigation, Jan Barck and Hemglass.
– We have not reported it to the police, but it is more of a work environment problem. But it’s definitely not a robbery, says Anders Granath.
