A major police operation is underway after several alarms about a heavy blow in southern Stockholm.
– Several police cars and fire trucks and helicopters are in the air, says a resident of the area.
Several people have contacted the police after hearing a loud explosion from Svedmyra in southern Stockholm. The alarm came at 11:57 pm Tuesday.
– We haven’t found anything. We and the fire brigade have turned around. Many people have heard, but seen nothing, some flames more or less, said initially Mats Almqvist, the police officer in charge.
Soon after, information will appear that the police have entered a residential building in the area. A window to an apartment has been smashed.
– There are probably between ten and twelve police cars and three ambulances here, says Aftonbladet photographer Pontus Orre.
