Hernández saved Milan’s suite in extra time

Milan have done well both in the league and in the Europa League despite the absence of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, injured in the thigh, since late November.

However, against Riccardo Gagliolo’s Parma, Milan came very close to losing for the first time in the league since March.

Hernani made it 1-0 for Parma in the 13th minute. After that, Milan took the lead, but ten minutes into the second half, Parma ran through Jasmin Kurtic. Then Milan woke up and Theo Hernández headed in a 1-2 corner. It seemed that Parma would take all three points for a long time. But in the first extra minute, Hernandez managed to push the 2-2 on a return and save a point off Ibrahimovic in the stands and keep the suite alive.

Milan continues to lead Serie A three points ahead of Inter.

Ibrahimovic is expected to return to the game against Genoa on Wednesday.

Dejan Kulusevski had to take a short break in the final minutes when his Juventus defeated Genoa 3-1. Cristiano Ronaldo scored two goals, which means he escalates into a shooting league advantage shared with Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
