Big fire at the fire station
Police received the alarm at 03.18 on Thursday night.
The Kvällposten photographer at the scene reported strong flames and that it is “completely overheated”.
– It is a continuous fire with open flames and people are still working on the site. But there is no ambulance there, so there shouldn’t be anyone injured, says Jonathan Jansson of SOS Alarm.
When the rescue service arrived at the scene, the fire was already underway.
– Flames erupted through one of the parking lot gates and the fire had also taken hold in the roof construction, says rescue leader Daniel Green.
The fire is very extensive.
– It’s basically the entire parking lot that’s on fire. It will burn, we cannot save it.
S backs – SD advances
The SVT / Novus voter barometer for October shows how five parties have a change in voter support, which is statistically significant, compared to the 2018 elections.
The Social Democrats have gotten smaller, at the same time, the fringe parties have increased. The Left Party, the Green Party and the Sweden Democrats have gained popularity.
– Sweden’s Democrats have won because of their continued concern about crime, the Left Party for positioning itself as the party with the clearest ideological base and the Green Party for its generous attitude on the issue of migration, says Torbjörn Sjöström.
Liberals, on the other hand, remain under parliamentary blockade.
Nightmare Figures from Germany
The second wave hits Europe hard.
And now Germany is also sounding the alarm that the situation is deteriorating again. Wednesday’s figures appeared to be around 5,000 newly infected, according to the German daily Bild.
But early Thursday morning, the Robert-Koch Institute announced that 6,638 people were reported to be infected on Wednesday. This is the highest figure Germany has ever measured. To find similar numbers, you must go back to March.
And the increase is rapid. On Wednesday of last week, 2,828 new cases were confirmed in Germany.
The Robert-Koch Institute writes in a comment:
“Currently, we are seeing a rapid increase in new cases in the population of Germany. Therefore, it is important that the entire population do what they can to protect themselves.”
