Greece says nothing about the infection on the islands

In Greece, the infection has increased in several places during the delayed tourist season. The number of confirmed cases has doubled in the last four weeks. Now they are around 11,000.

Michalis Giannakos, president of the Greek Medical Association, tells SR that the cases of tourists discovered on the islands are most frequently recorded on the mainland.

Young man shot in Vällingby

It was during the night of Monday that the Vällingby police in northwest Stockholm were alerted after alarms about gunfire.

The patrols found an injured person at the scene.

– We received a call shortly after 11 pm Several people called us for heavy blows, which were thought to be gunshots. When we got to the scene, we found a wounded man outside. The injury situation is unclear regarding that person, but he was awake and speaking when he was taken to hospital, says Åsa Wallentin of the Stockholm Police.

Wildfires are spreading in California
