• The maximum number of parties in a restaurant is reduced from eight to four people. As of December 24, the alcoholic beverage service will be discontinued after 8:00 p.m. instead of before 10:00 p.m.

• The maximum number is entered in stores, shopping centers and gyms. There is no information yet on how many there are. Traders and owners should establish as soon as possible a maximum number of people who can stay there at the same time. If the restrictions don’t work, businesses can be closed. This applies until further notice.

• The Swedish Public Health Agency recommends that mouth guards be worn on public transport during certain times when congestion cannot be avoided. The authority will return with more detailed advice on which mouth guards to use and when commuting.

• High school students must have distance or distance continuing education until January 24th.

• All activities carried out by the state, municipalities and regions that are not necessary are closed until January 24. This includes restrooms, sports halls, and museums.

• All employers, in both the public and private sectors, are urged to ensure that unnecessary staff work at home until January 24.

• All stores are asked to cancel the noon sale.

In other aspects it also applies: Stay home and test for symptoms, just hang out with your close circle, keep your distance, avoid indoor environments and public transportation, wash your hands frequently with soap for at least 20 seconds. If someone in the home is infected, they may need to isolate themselves. Avoid traveling without a seat ticket and making new contacts. Those over 70 should follow the advice more closely.
