November 27 is the start of the season of the popular På spåret program. Following the success of the band Augustifamiljen, last year’s show opted to start a new concept where various musical acts return throughout the season. The idea is to bring different genres and variations on stage and the first to come out is Little Dragon and the series of shows ends with the first aid kit in the finale.
– My music during my 12 years, I think it is, has had the importance that it has attracted a younger audience. We can pretend that First Aid Kit plays a Kenny Rogers song and then make two generations happy, says host Kristian Luuk.
The pandemic creates problems
Due to corona restrictions, SVT currently does not know what will happen to the audience, but their goal is to have a small audience so that the bands can receive applause when they have finished playing. The pandemic also caused it in early spring, when much of the world was shut down and questions had to be logged.
– We managed to make the most necessary trips before, but then we received help from the correspondents on the site. Fortunately, we had stored questions in far off places that we could use, pulled from storage, so to speak, says Kristian Luuk.
Those who will participate in the contest will present themselves at the end of September.
