He had dynamite, photos of Hitler, and a death list.

Hawk crosses flags, portraits of Hitler, pistols, military equipment and leaflets of the Nordic Nazi resistance movement. Police breaking into the men’s department at Västra Frölunda in Gothenburg dedicate many lines in their report to describe the vision that meets him.

“The feeling was that it was packaged for use,” he writes.

In the middle of all this is a 51-year-old man and he says that it is not what it seems, that there is an explanation for this.

The strike occurred in November. 2017. Police arrested a drug-affected person who left the 51-year-old department and conducted a search of homes.

The visit’s seizure record is over fifty pages long. In a locker, the police find bayonets, two axes, and a nightstick. In a bag next to it there is a bow and 15 arrows. On a chair lies a sword.

In addition, there are protective vests, tear gas, ammunition, protective masks, various parts of weapons and various firearms, including a rebuilt signal pistol and a cut-off shotgun.

But the most notable discovery is made in the kitchen: nine pounds of dynamite in sausage-like packages in a black bag on the floor.

What would the 51-year-old man do with all this?

In search of answers they were questioned several people in the vicinity of the man. A relative described the 51-year-old man as a lone wolf with great military interest who barely left his apartment.

On his worldview, he said:

– He’s probably leaning to the right. He is very proud to be Swedish, as I understand it. He really likes Sweden. He really liked Trump.

Police also searched the man’s computer and found a folder where he had kept photos of journalists, politicians, and people in the left-wing autonomous environment.

Several of the photos have it was given the file name “dead” or “NAME must die”. In some cases, it had the addresses of favorite people in find.se.

Police also found a conversation where they discussed immigration with someone else and wrote:

“The question is what are you willing to do. Words don’t change anything, only action! Get in touch when you’re ready to move from word to action. “

In a letter, dated 2009, addressed to Fredrik Vejdeland, editor-in-chief of the Nazi site Nordfront, he stated as follows:

“I am willing to sacrifice my life if necessary for mother Svea and the true survival of the Swedes, so please excuse the language, but please invite me because I am a genuine product and want nothing more than to participate in the battle for Sweden ”

In the man's house, the NMR flyers were found.

In the interrogation with the police. man is much more discreet. He says he has been a member of the Nordic Nazi Resistance Movement, RMN, but is no longer active.

– It was a letter that I wrote so that they would take an interest in me. It was nine years ago. I am not the same person. I am very distant from the NMR and the jihadists who are exploiting, he says.

He admits to possessing the weapons, but says they would not be used against anyone. Only in self-defense, in an upcoming war in Sweden.

“If there is a systemic collapse, it must be possible to survive in the forests,” he said.

In interrogations he expresses great concern for the development of society.

– There are many different groups discussing what is happening. I like to keep myself updated. This means that I want to distance myself more from the society that I want to live in the forest. I feel like it’s gone so far that I just want to get away from this shit and all the people.

According to him, the death list was a way to react.

– If I see something I don’t like, I usually take a photo and name it and then tell Mother Svea that it will solve the problem. It is a way to relieve pressure, he says in questioning.

About the explosive, he says he discovered it in nature and took it home so that it did not fall into the wrong hands.

Earlier this spring, charges were filed against man for serious violation of the Flammable and Explosive Products Law, as well as for serious crimes with weapons.

– He seems to have lived in a kind of world similar to Rambol, where he thought it was important to equip himself, says Hans-Jörgen Hanström, prosecutor in the case.

It describes the man as a militarily interested person, but also says that there was a risk that the seized objects could be used for criminal purposes.

– That’s what we see when we look at the big picture. We have seen that at least he was looking to be a member of groups far to the right and that he also had a death list of people who worked in journalism.

That man is not prosecuted Hans-Jörgen Hanström, according to Hans-Jörgen Hanström, was in charge of preparing for general destruction, a crime with a higher penalty scale, because he had no concrete criminal plan.

– Since we cannot show anything other than the attack itself, it becomes an attack target. It is too nonspecific to process for more than that. There is no set plan to blow up an object of any kind.

The trial will take place in late August. Until then, man will be free. According to Hans-Jörgen Hanström, it depends on several things.

– The person has been punished before. He was deprived of all opportunities to use all weapons and explosives. The penalty for the suspected crime was less, making it more difficult to keep him in custody until trial.

Do you follow it in other ways?

I can not say that. But it is part of the duties of the Security Police to prevent crime. In this context, there are certain controls.
