Therefore, Harris cancels his planned field trips until Monday.

The infected person is Harris’s communications manager. Another person from the crew of the plane in which Kamala Harris is traveling during the election campaign has tested positive for the corona virus.

Harris herself tested negative on Wednesday, according to her chief of staff Jen O’Malley Dillon, who also announced in a statement that Kamala Harris does not need to be quarantined.

“But as an added precaution, we will cancel the trip and continue the campaign digitally before we get back on the road on October 19,” O’Malley Dillon continues.

Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden also traveled on a plane with a person who tested positive for COVID-19. But according to the former vice president’s staff, Biden was never in close contact with the infected person during the flights, which took place on Monday and Tuesday. Therefore, according to a staff statement, it is irrelevant that Joe Biden be quarantined.
