Hammarby lost the victory in the last minute of the derby

– Right now it’s very depressing. It feels bitter, says Hammarby defender Richard Magyar after the game.

– It is not the first blow we take, and when it happens over and over again it is heavy. It doesn’t really feel like the machinery is rolling, continue.

Hammarby came very close to victory in the derby in Sunday afternoon’s game against Djurgården on Tele2. They only made that last free throw, then secured three points and cheers could erupt.

Instead, the free throw came that ruined the day. Because in the mess after that, Djurgården’s replaced defender Jesper Nyholm stepped up and put the final score at 1-1.

Long time i saw it otherwise it was as if Muamer Tankovic was the only scorer of the match.

In mid-September, in a match against Helsingborg, Tankovic was forced to leave the pitch due to injury.

A tear in the back of one thigh caused him to miss two more matches, but when it came time for the derby against Djurgården on Tele2 on Sunday afternoon, the 25-year-old forward was finally ready to play again.

And it was a playful Tankovic who showed why he is so important to his team.

After skewers and creative play of the forward from the start, in the 25th minute the goal also came. His teammate Alexander Kacaniklic fired a shot that was stopped by Djurgården goalkeeper Tommi Vaiho but returned. Tankovic stayed ahead on the return leg, scoring the first goal of the game.

1-0 for Hammarby was also the result after the first half where both teams played perfectly well, but where the really sharp scoring chances were easy to count.

Half a goal and a half were enough for Muamer Tankovic this time. When the second half began, the scorer was not on the field. He was replaced by Gustav Ludwigson.

– He is one of the best players in the Allsvenskan but after the first half he gave signs that he wanted to change. So 45 minutes was what he had in him this time, says Hammarby’s coach, Stefan Billborn, of the switch.

Tankovic was thus able to watch from the bench as Djurgården’s Jesper Nyholm, who also made his first match after injury, set the final score at 1-1.

Maybe a fair result seen how the match had turned out, but still heavy for Hammarby.

– It feels very hard. We put in a good game and we worked hard for each other and then we let in a goal. It feels more like a loss than a point, says Alexander Kacaniklic of Hammarby.

Hammarby got both of his wingers injured in Sunday’s derby. For Simon Sandberg, it was finished at the start of the match, while Mohanad Jeahze was carried out on a stretcher with just over 20 minutes left in regulation time.

Now the national team is waiting for a break.

– Someday we get depressed and then we let it go, says Richard Magyar.
