The Englishman scored two goals at Öis 2017. One in the derby against Gais and one in the tie for Superettan against Mjällby. Now Hakeem Araba has signed for Q provide.
– This is a very good deal for Q Provide, says head coach Henrik Fridolvsson.
– Hakeem sees an opportunity to help an association that needs his expertise, but also sees it as an opportunity to get fit for the match.
Araba most recently comes from Cypriot Akritas Chlorakas and has not played the wrong months as the crown has made it impossible in Cyprus.
How did it end with you?
– He ended up with us through my agent network.
Who made the contact?
– The agent contacted me at an early stage and told me that Hakeem was available.
The coach continues:
– I especially remember him from his time in Falkenberg (2016) at the Allsvenskan when he impressed me a lot. That was the first thing that appeared on my retina.
Fridolvsson hopes Araba will bring a new dimension to attacking play for the team, which is in thirteenth place in Division 1 South.
The contract has been signed for the rest of the year and hopefully the great striker is ready to play the next away game against Assyrian Turabin.
