Something that not many people know is that Håkan Hellström is probably in the best collection of E.T. Gothenburg.
ALBUM Sometimes Håkan Hellström smiles as unique as ever. But the first part of the album “Rampljus” also contains moments where it sounds like a less attractive repetition of itself.

POP Håkan Hellström He has been the most central figure in Swedish pop music for 20 years, loved by his audience and critically acclaimed in an almost unique way in unison. Today it is bigger than ever.
But we also know that this is the artist who has written lines during the trip. “Håkan, you were better before” and “Everyone wants to see you fall now, Håkan Hellström ”.
In this first half of his tenth album (the second will be released in August) he is there again: “You could have been cruel if you had only made one dish since you died at 27”, “You can’t believe in yourself Håkan”.
Frölunda, 46, demeans himself by addressing a bizarre cultural page chronicle that he thought he should start rewriting his middle-class life instead of continuing to paint romantic dreams from the outside.
It is a perspective that almost begins to resemble that of Ulf LundellHåkan’s closest representative on the throne as the indigenous rock of the indigenous rock.
That he is alone at the top and that this position easily leads to misrepresentations of reality, we have seen numerous examples. Probably from the top of the rock arena, it’s not a picnic to turn off the noise from fans, record companies, producers, reviewers, and others who think they know exactly what step you should take next, and continue browsing more on your own. heart.
Håkan, however, did well as recently as in the surprise release, a rather unexpected and highly successful symphony orchestra album “Illusions” almost two years ago.
Seven short songs “Rampljus vol 1” are moving on more familiar ground. Jocke Åhlund He is back in the producer’s chair after ten years and plays many of the instruments in a sound that partly ties in with what he and Håkan cooked together in “2 Steps from Paradise.”
There are unleashed conga releases, puggy whistles, acoustic guitars, and bloats. The OMSriff but also Jojje Wadenius like a delicate elegant nylon rope in the “Student Fill Flake”.
Excellent opening song “All dreams come true” sounds like a kind Stones– wonderful summary of the race so far. The text could easily have fallen into an uninteresting umbilical view around the few skeptics who have obviously been trapped inside the skull, despite all of Ullevi’s love, had he not been so syllabic, drunk.
Even the country people “The Road with the Rainbow Over” are strong, a gangster story at school “When the Lamps Light” where Håkan finds a little new John Holm-as a way of singing.
Some other lyrics sound more like the result of afternoons with various smokers and chemicals in the studio, and unfortunately the listener doesn’t give much of an exaggeration to take home.
That in combination with some songs like the constant co-composer Björn Olsson Recycling on its own means that the album really fails to get involved in the way that we’ve had the luxury of getting used to.
Perhaps everything fits better when the second part appears, perhaps Håkan saves on the strongest songs.
Let’s hope, because for the first time it would be sad to be forced to write that this artist is really where better before
