A large number of police officers continue to investigate the disappearance of Anne-Elisabeth Hagen.
The last detail that has caught the interest of the police is a mysterious car. The vehicle must have driven towards the Hagen couple’s house just before the disappearance.
It has been just over two years since Anne-Elisabeth Hagen disappeared from her home in Lorensskog in Norway.
At the end of April 2020, her husband, billionaire Tom Hagen, was arrested on suspicion of murdering, or participating in the murder, of his wife. He was released just over a week, although suspicions persist against him.
Very interesting car
Now a mystery car is very interesting in the police investigation, VG reports. The car was heading towards the property at 9 o’clock, just before Anne Elisabeth Hagen’s last sign of life, a text message sent to a family member at 9.14.
The police theory is that Anne-Elisabeth Hagen was living and at home when the car headed toward the property.
– It is an interesting car, and we want to have contact with the driver of the same, all the passengers and witnesses who may have seen it, says Police Inspector Agnes Beate Hemiø to VG.

Has high priority
The image the Norwegian police are using comes from a camera that filmed the car. Due to the poor quality, they have been waiting to come out with the material.
At first, the researchers weren’t even sure it was a car in the images. And they still have no idea what kind of car they are looking for, who was driving, or if there were one or more passengers in the vehicle.
The case continues to have a high priority with the police, according to Agnes Beate Hemiø.
– There are between 30 and 40 people working on the case. Our goal remains the same, namely to find Anne-Elisabeth Hagen. Our main hypothesis remains that we are facing murder, he tells VG.

Anne-Elisabeth Hagen has been missing since the end of October 2018.
Possible to solve
In total, the police conducted around 600 interrogations, received around 6,000 hours of video from, among other things, surveillance cameras, and made more than 2,300 seizures.
Among other things, they have tried to locate a man who was seen near the couple’s home in Hagen on the same day that Anne-Elisabeth disappeared. In early October, they managed to identify the man’s jacket.
Police Inspector Agnes Beate Hemiø still believes that the alleged murder can be solved.
– Our goal is to find Anne-Elisabeth Hagen and bring those responsible to justice. That is the main objective and if we have achieved it, we have reached the goal. We believe this is possible, he tells VG.
