VENICE. It is day after day. When was the world premiere of the documentary “Greta” at the film festival. Greetings in the living room. Good reviews in the world press.

But not Greta Thunberg instead.

– I didn’t see any reason why it should be there. It may seem a bit far-fetched, but now I’m going to school and I want to do as little media as possible, he tells Aftonbladet exclusively.

During Friday’s press conference, she was on a link, from a teacher’s classroom, between two lessons in high school, where she studies socially oriented subjects.

Via dad Svante Thunberg I have the opportunity to speak with her on the phone for a few minutes.

I ask him if he heard the laughter he provoked at the press conference when he jokingly called the director of the film. Nathan grossman for “unprofessional”.

– Yes, but the where if that.

What Greta Thunberg calls “unprofessional” is that usually only Nathan was the entire film crew.

– Poor thing, nobody helped him. He himself took the sound, dragged the camera and all the bags, his back must have been injured.

Greta Thunberg was back outside the Riksdag building in Stockholm to go on a climate strike on September 4.

One thing Greta is not happy with is that the shaky boat trip across the Atlantic comes across as so difficult.

– After a satellite conversation with my mother and sister, then I longed for home, it was the worst thing I felt. Otherwise, I felt good on the boat trip.

Weren’t you scared? Dizzy?

– No. No way. It was a racing boat, it’s built to be fast, it’s a little dark metal box with no amenities. There were storms and big waves. The crew and Nathan were dizzy, Dad a little closer, but not me. The day before we left Nathan looked so scared it was almost comical, I thought he would jump out of everything.

Other than school, how do you continue the fight as a climate activist?

– I sat outside the Riksdag for a bit last Friday. We kept our distance and we had mouth guards. I will continue to create awareness and opinion and demand change.
