Mattias, 17, disappeared in Ljungby the night before Saturday. The police claim that his jacket and shoes may be missing. A large search operation is underway with various patrols, cavalry and drones. The Swedish Armed Forces have also been involved in the search.
Police do not suspect a crime, but are asking the public for advice on finding him.

17-year-old Mattias is missing.
Police are looking for 17-year-old Mattias in Ljungby. He had left an address in the Hjortsberg district at 12.30 a.m. the night before Saturday, where he is said to have been with an acquaintance, but did not return home. At the time of the disappearance, Mattias was wearing jeans, it is unknown what he was wearing on his upper body. The 17-year-old is around 175cm tall, blond, and has a slim physique. Mattias may not have a jacket and shoes
Police do not suspect any crime at this time, but are asking the public for advice on where Mattias may be. A large search effort is underway with various patrols, including the dog patrol and cavalry.
– We take all necessary measures and we also have drones in place, says Sara Andersson, spokesperson for the South Region.
At 4 p.m. on Saturday, Mattias is still missing. The police are strengthening their search and, among other things, have requested help from the Armed Forces with crews, vehicles and helicopters.
The police appeal to the public for clues or observations that may lead to Mattias being found.
