A group of 16 people, eleven adults and five children, ruined a restaurant in Landskrona municipality on the bill in late November. A restaurant manager now wants to warn others in the restaurant industry.

The company had indicated the name of a construction company on the reservation, but that company said it did not know about the reservation when the restaurant subsequently requested a billing address.

After reading about the Helsingborgs Dagblad fraud, a restaurant in Helsingborg contacted the newspaper and told them that the same company, eleven adults and five children, probably also reserved tables with them.

– They made the reservation when we did not accept to pay by invoice, a person in charge of the Helsingborg restaurant tells HD.

Therefore, the restaurant manager is concerned that others in the industry will be warned. Many restaurants are struggling through the pandemic and then a running note hurts a lot more.

The affected restaurant in Landskrona has reported the fraud to the police.

-Normally we could have handled it, but these days it is very heavy, its CEO tells the newspaper.

It was on November 25 that several generations of 16 people ate and drank for SEK 8,305. The restaurant perceived the details of the company’s reservation as credible.
