The alarm for the accident came shortly before three thirty on Saturday afternoon.
A tram had collided with a pedestrian at Norra Hamngatan in Gothenburg.
– He’s a hit man. The ambulance has loaded a person, explained Jessica Avenius, SOS Alarm team leader.
Later, the police announced that the pedestrian was not injured and that he was allowed to leave the scene after being searched by ambulance personnel.
The police initially stated that the tram had derailed, a task that Västtrafik rejects.
In connection with the accident, several tram lines were stopped, but shortly before 4 in the afternoon traffic resumed.
Bus and tram in new accident
However, buses to Hisingen that pass through Nordstan cannot pass. This is due to a new tram accident that occurred some time later.
– A tram and a bus collide in Nordstan at the height of the Hotel Eggers. The streetcar must have hit the back of a bus, says Brian Hansen.
– Bus traffic is stopped in both directions. Trams coming from Hisingen will be able to take their usual route through Lilla Bommen.
According to the police, the pedestrian who collided with the tram was responsible for the accident. Now he is suspected of negligence in traffic.
