Despite many chances, Värnamo – Bois finished 0-0. Thus, Landskrona failed to take the position to climb the same points before the final rounds. However, the qualifying spot for the Superettan is already secured.

Värnamo – Landskrona Bois 0–0

Before the summit, Landskrona Bois was three points behind IFK Värnamo. The visitors started passively and had a difficult time getting their passing game and longer attacks in order. Initially, it was Värnamo who created the opportunities.

Philip Mårtensson in goal for Bois provided a pair of saves as the home team led the game, but the keeper was not forced to make any sweaty saves in the first half.

Instead, it was Bois who created the best opportunity in the first 45 minutes. Filip Olsson registered for Oscar Petersson in the penalty area, whose shot was controlled through a defender and inside the post.

After a break, Philip Mårtesson saved a free kick after just over a minute of play. With barely ten minutes remaining, it was Bois’s turn to sniff out a goal lead, and then he was extremely close. Alexander Tkacz came in from the left side and played for Kevin Jensen. His left shot also hit the post, inches from slipping into the goal.

It really did fluctuate in the match: Värnamo had the chance after BoIS ‘oversight, but Michael Kargbo shot himself into a party situation and was scoreless with half an hour to play. They were bidding for more goals, but it seemed that home team self-confidence was low after recent losses when sharpness was lacking in the final.

Bois finished well off the track and, with 20 minutes to go, Värnamo’s Joel Stevens hit the post from close range. That there were no goals so far in the match was unlikely in terms of the opportunities created.

Bois needed to win to catch up with Värnamo before the final two rounds, but in the end they had a hard time creating really hot situations. Filip Olsson had a free kick just outside the penalty area that hit his own player into the wall and Robin Hofsö winked outside of which the goalkeeper was aware.

There were no goals in this match, which means that Bois secured a qualifying spot for Superettan. Until league leaders Värnamo, there are still three points left.
