Gaming company ATG has been the target of a cyber attack.

Reveals Travronden.

– We have discovered illegitimate login attempts on several of our clients’ accounts, security manager Magnus Lunner tells the newspaper.

On Tuesday morning, the gaming company ATG was the target of a cyber attack. This is revealed by the specialized magazine Travronden.

The attack has made it impossible to log in with the gaming company username or password.

Can be played in the store

On the gaming company’s website, you can currently read the following:

Login: Currently it is not possible to login with a username and password. Use BankID or Freja eID. It is also possible to play in a store.

According to Travronden, this will be a so-called “brute force attack.” A “brute force attack” means it systematically tries as many different combinations as possible to decipher the login information, according to an IT industry source with whom the trade journal has been in contact.

“Investigating more”

Gaming company ATG confirms the attack.

– We have detected illegitimate login attempts on several of our clients’ accounts. Therefore, to protect our customers, we have temporarily closed the ability to log in using username and password. At the moment, we urge our customers to log in via Bank ID or Freja-eid or play in a store. Now we are investigating in more detail what has happened, says the security manager of the games company, Magnus Lunner, to the newspaper.

On Tuesday night, the V86 game will be decided in Axevalla and Solänget. The game stop is at 20:30.
