The home team started better in the first period, but the puck didn’t want to get behind Niklas Rubin in Frölundakassen. Instead, the guests could take the lead through Jesper Sellgren in the first minute of first period.

After that, Frölunda never let go of the match. When Patrik Carlsson made it 4-2 just over four minutes from the end of the fourth period, it felt like the game was punctured.

Frölunda regains the league lead from Rögle after the fifth consecutive victory. Oskarshamn continues to lose ground after his strong start to the season and remains in eleventh place after the team’s sixteenth consecutive loss.
