Skellefteå’s young players Jonatan Berggren, 20, and Andreas Wingerli, 23, continue to impress at SHL. The duo accounted for two new points each when the Västerbottens defeated Linköping 3-2 at home.
But it didn’t start anymore. Linköping went 2-0 in the first half thanks to goals from Markus Ljung and Oula Palve.
In the middle of the night He then gave Wingerli his hope Skellefteå when he cut with his third goal of the season, assisted by Berggren. Before the period ended, the duo, Wingerli’s scorer and Berggren’s pass-scorer, had also fixed the tie.
In the third half, Finn Toumas Kiiskinen decided with just over ten minutes to play.
So far in the series, Berggren has 13 points (2 + 11) and Wingerli has 10 (4 + 6).
– Really effective the first period on our side. Then we turn the others around, says Oscar Möller to C More.
– It seems to have been the problem all year. The first period was good, but just because we lag a bit behind on others we become anxious. We must solve that problem in some way, says Filip Berglund from Linköping.
