If it had been any ordinary Christmas Eve, Erik Björklund would have been home with his parents with his older sister and family. But 2020 is not just any year and Erik will be home alone in his apartment, watching movies and drinking brandy.
– It feels boring, of course. But there will be more Christmas, he says.
Since Erik Björklund has undergone a pacemaker operation, he belongs to a risk group. He hasn’t been in the office since March and has only met his sister’s newborn twins once.
– It also gets boring on weekdays. So it’s a lot of Premier League, but the half is to consult with the Poles and have a berry. Sitting at home alone is not the same, he says.
What movie will be on Christmas Eve?
– Maybe save Private Ryan for the fifty-eleventh time. Why? It’s a very good movie and it’s on Viaplay. Or there will be something on Netflix, we’ll see.
