It was on Friday, September 4, when a personal assistant made a grim discovery at work at a patient’s home.
The colleague who was to replace the assistant was dead in the Trollhättan apartment.
Another colleague was also in the house, a man in his 55s. He was asleep at the patient’s home and woke up at the scene of a crime.
– I was shocked when I saw the crime scene. It was so unreal, like in a bad movie, he told GT.
The suspect, who is 40 years old, is a colleague of the other assistants. She was arrested a few days after the event and shortly thereafter arrested for probable cause on suspicion of murder.
The woman has previously been convicted of various crimes, including alcohol smuggling, robbery, and bodily harm.
Police are looking for witnesses
On Tuesday, the police came out with a search on Facebook where they wanted to receive testimonies from around the Ljungskile train station at around 5 a.m. on September 4. The search is related to the murder investigation in Trollhättan.
– We suspect that the woman in custody on suspicion of the murder was in Ljungskile at the time. I can’t explain exactly what happened or what he did there, but there has been movement around the place. We want observations and we would like to know if anyone has seen anything, vehicles or people who have been there, says Sten Rune Timmersjö to Ttela.
Anyone who was on the scene at the time in question is asked to contact the police, regardless of whether they know they have seen something or not.
Furthermore, Timmersjö tells Ttela that about 400 interrogations have been carried out and that the investigation is progressing.
