Former national team star charged with aggravated drunk driving

Earlier this summer, the former Tre Kronor star drove a vehicle on E18 in the late afternoon. Several witnesses describe how the car, which is being driven at a fairly low speed, rocks back and forth on the road.

A witness describes that at one point the car hit the center rail with such force that the car bounced off the road.

I sat and slept on the road

A witness, who ended up in the car queue, says he approaches the car where a man sleeps behind the wheel.

– He did not react, but seemed to have completely gone, says the witness in questioning.

In addition, he says that he raised the man’s eyelids, but did not contact him.

The unreachable man in the car is the former hockey star, who has made many international appearances for Tre Kronor. Police were called to the scene and, according to them, the former star was clearly drunk. According to police, he was slurred and incoherent and hesitated sharply.

Sampling revealed that the former star had 3.06 per thousand alcohol in his blood and is now charged with aggravated drunk driving.

Former Tre Kronor star admits to questioning

– It has been exemplary here. We haven’t had any problems, nothing has happened to us, and he was here on a non-profit basis.

– But it is very difficult to get in touch with him. We haven’t had any contact since midsummer, I can’t locate him.
