Floyd Mayweather won all 50 boxing matches of his career. The 43-year-old has not been a match since he hit Conor McGregor in a rewritten match in August 2017.
In March, Roger Mayweather, a former world champion, Floyd’s uncle and a former coach, died after a period of illness.
Something that inspired Floyd Mayweather to enter the coaching industry.
“As many know, I have had incredible coaches like my dad and uncle. After the death of my uncle Roger, I was inspired to help those around me in the same way that they helped me with my boxing career, ”he writes on Instagram regarding a movie clip where he trains a relative of 14 years.
“Growing up together”
He writes that quarantined time has made him realize the importance of community and make others grow. And Mayweather has big plans.
“I’m new to coaching, and so far I’ve worked with people with no boxing experience. So we grow together. But I promise I will become one of the best coaches in the world. “
