After an intense and emotional week with “Musikhjälpen”, Felix Sandman is out in the open.

It is happy and completely finished.

– It was so much warmth, love and commitment, he tells Aftonbladet.

He’s a happy but exhausted Felix Sandman that Aftonbladet talks to after the broadcast.

– I feel very good, I am happy. Incredible ending mentally and physically.

He says the experience has been “beyond all expectations.”

– It was so much warmth, love and commitment. The whole format and the excellent audience has poured a lot of love. I learned a lot and it opened my eyes, he says.

“The rabbits shot it”

It was on Saturday, the sixth day, that the presenters were visited by rabbits in the square. Then it finally became too much for Felix Sandman, who broke down in tears. He describes it as one of the strongest moments on the show.

– It wasn’t just the rabbits, but the rabbits triggered something. It had been a great impression and we had moved on from talking about very hard and heavy topics. Then we also talked a lot about hope and what commitment can do.

– We have had a lot of fun, it has been very entertaining, we have danced and joked and we have invited each other. Everything turns into a pancake in the end and you lose it completely. And the rabbits set it off.

Heavy conversations and lack of sleep

What has been difficult is all the heavy conversations during the week. Also lack of sleep.

– It has averaged four hours per night. He has also been driving at night for two nights and there have been strange circadian rhythms and that affects his psyche a lot. Feelings become very fragile.

What are you going to do now?

– The first thing we did was we sat here and ate a lot of sushi, Brita, Farah and me. We sat in silence and ate. I am very socially drained because I put a lot of energy and emotion into everything I do. I probably need to lock myself in a bit and zero all the prints.
