Rescue services, ambulance and police are on the scene in Trångsund, south of Stockholm, after an explosion. SOS Alarm received the first alarm at 01.36.
– Some form of detonation has occurred outside an apartment building. There is material damage in the form of pressed door, scorched façade and broken windows. We blocked while waiting for the bomb technicians, says Peter Asp, an officer on duty in the police.
There is no information on injuries. A preliminary investigation into the general destruction was launched, but no one has been arrested.
There are a dozen police patrols at the scene, as well as about 15 firefighters from three stations.
– There is no fire, but we will investigate if there is instability on the property, says Anders Hägglund, operations manager of the rescue service.
A witness from the area tells of the outbreak:
– We were going to bed. The house was damaged. I called 112 immediately. Now there are many police cars driving around here, says the man.
