The alarm reached the rescue service shortly after 4 pm on Friday. Then you should have seen flames through the windows.
– When we get there, it’s a fully developed fire on the second floor of an apartment building, says Ludvig Sääf, rescue operator at the Mitt rescue center.
At the scene, he must have started rescuing a person who was in the apartment.
– Then there will be some kind of explosion in this apartment, and a person must be injured in connection with it, says Ludvig Sääf.
The person has been taken by ambulance to the hospital.
The fire has already been extinguished, but the rescue service is left with nine units. There are threats of fire spreading and the building has had to be evacuated.
Police write on their website that the explosion, according to the rescue service, was likely caused by a spray bottle that was affected by the heat of the fire.
Neighbors: “World Chaos”
