Explosion at the door in Helsingborg
A detonation occurred at a gate at Brunnbäcksgatan in Helsingborg overnight on Tuesday. No one appears to have been physically injured, police say.
“It is a bigger explosion,” said Richard Trincas of the Helsingborg police.
An ambulance, two units from the emergency services and the police called after the alarm, which arrived at the SOS Alarm at 01.50. During the night, fences were placed around several stairways around the direction of the detonation. No one is arrested.
– We’ve ordered technicians and the bomb squad is on its way to secure the site. We do both exteriors and non-exploration, says Richard Trincas, on-call investigator.
No personal injury has been reported to the police, but the explosion must have caused significant property damage to the rented property.
“The entrance is destroyed from what I understand and several windows are broken,” says Marie Fridström, internal police commander.
– We are waiting and closing while we wait for the bomb squad.
The case is initially classified as general destruction.
