The murder victim was like the personal assistant to the now-suspicious colleague.
He was found dead in a patient’s home in Trollhättan in September this year when a third colleague would replace him.
A fourth colleague, a 55-year-old man on duty, was also at the home and was initially suspected of a crime.
However, the suspicions were later canceled.
– I was very surprised when I saw the crime scene. It was so unreal, like in a bad movie, he has told GT.
Denies the crime
Instead, a woman in her 40s is being held for, among other things, murder. She was arrested a few days after the incident and is also suspected of theft and fraud.
However, she denies the crime, according to a recent investigation by the probation service.
The investigation also shows that the woman put forward her own theory about the murder and what happened.
“She says that two men picked her up at her own home and took her to the current address, where the two men are said to have committed the crime / NN / is suspect”writes the probation service.
Sten-Rune Timmersjö, head of the police department for serious crimes, does not want to comment on the woman’s explanation.
– We can say that only she is still a suspect. No one else is in custody, he says.
Formerly politically active
The suspected woman has previously been politically active in another western Swedish municipality.
In the 2018 elections, he ran for the municipal council of the Social Democrats. He then had party assignments on a municipal committee as a replacement. The woman was also a deputy on the board of a municipal company.
He left both assignments this year.
