A Swedish citizen has been extradited from Turkey to Iran, the man’s relatives told SVT.
The 47-year-old man risks being sentenced to death for being the leader of an organization classified by the Iranian state that is fighting for the independence of one of the country’s regions.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirms that it is aware of the case, but otherwise does not comment.
