On December 3, Emilia was found dead in Vramsån on Tollarp in Skåne.
Emilia was seen for the last time in her life eleven days before. Then she was seen, in the company of a man, crossing the E22 in a strange way. Several drivers witnessed this and reacted: the couple made a strange sight at the site and crossed the busy road in a place where there is no crosswalk for pedestrians.
A few hours later, several employees of a food factory next to the E22 ruled on a man behaving strangely on the side of the road. Several alerted the police because the man does not appear to be in a position to take care of himself.
By chance, Emilia’s mother passed by at the same time, she had just picked up her son from school, brought him home and is now on her way to buy food at a nearby fast food restaurant. It was around 1pm
Drug problem
As he passed the food factory site, he saw the man who had caused a stir. It moves strangely, in the middle of the road.
She recognizes the man. He is Emilia’s childhood friend, a 21-year-old boy who he knows well.
The 21-year-old had previously been convicted of drug offenses and is described as having a growing drug problem in the time leading up to the murder.
Emilia’s mother turned the car around, drove back, and rolled down the window.
During questioning, the mother tells her that the 21-year-old walked to the car, recognized her, and asked to be taken home.
In the car, he left a confused impression, the mother will say later in the questioning.
The 21-year-old has small wounds and is soaked.
– I ask you where you’ve been. But he could not account for anything, says the mother in questioning.

He goes on to say that he asked the 21-year-old about Emilia, but got nothing meaningful from him. Emilia’s mother drives the 21-year-old house where the 21-year-old mother calls an ambulance. the assessment is, however, that the 21-year-old does not need care.
Later in the evening, Emilia’s mother talks to the 21-year-old on the phone and then thanks him for the help earlier in the day.
Eleven days later, Emilia is found dead. The next day, the 21-year-old was arrested.
When police knocked on the door, it was 1.5 minutes before the 21-year-old’s mother opened it. Then the son, dressed only in underwear, stood behind.
The police who arrested the 21-year-old describe him as looking like he had just woken up and was waiting for the police to arrive.
On Thursday, the 21-year-old was charged with Emilia’s murder. According to the prosecutor, on November 22, shortly before being discovered at E22, he killed Emilia by cutting her across her upper body with a sharp object. In connection with this, Emilia has ended up in Vramsån.
The 21-year-old has explained in the interrogation that he remembers that during the day he was in the area around the E22 and that there he fell into the water. In other respects, he believes he has suffered from memory gaps.
The police have heard him 28 times and have consistently denied that he murdered Emilia.
The trial against the 21-year-old murder suspect will begin on Friday of next week.
