On Friday, a rumor began to flourish that Elon Musk, the businessman behind the car company Tesla and SpaceX, was heading to Sweden.
On Saturday, he is believed to have landed in Sweden according to eyewitnesses who gathered at Skavsta airport to receive the billionaire on his private jet.
One of the people who was at the airport is Christian Ander.
– I have a digital collector’s card, Marblecard, that I have printed on which I wanted a signature. That, and that’s why I wanted to welcome you to Sweden. I also drive a Tesla with a bitcoin sign on it, so I thought he would think it was a bit of fun, he tells Breakit.
“Then we saw the castle”
He tells the newspaper that about twenty people were at the airport before Elon Musk arrived.
There has been speculation why Elon Musk is in Sweden, but there is currently no definitive answer.
But some people chose to follow Musk’s car from the airport.
– We follow the car on the highway that goes from Katrineholm. Then Teslan turned right and entered a secondary road, and then we saw the castle which was illuminated in a very beautiful way with very pretty colors. Outside there were two rental buses and taxis were in and out all the time. Inside, it sparkled, like a disco or taking pictures. It seemed like a real event, Mikael Robertsson tells Breakit.
