Regional Councilor Ella Bohlin (KD) resigns from her position in the Stockholm Region. Today, she is regional councilor for care development in Stockholm, but after nearly 20 years in politics, Bohlin decided to leave.
Ella Bohlin leaves at the turn of the year, announces through her social networks:
“The decision was made after careful consideration. The past year has been difficult on a personal level. It has led me to now be in a place in life where I have to put my own health and my family first.”
According to the press secretary for the Christian Democrats, Ella Bohlin will not leave any comment for now.
Review after party with Ebba Busch
In the fall, Ella Bohlin was criticized for attending influencer Margaux Dietz’s birthday party, along with party leader Ebba Busch.
Photos from the party showed the guests were not keeping their distance, at the same time that Bohlin, as a health politician before that, urged Stockholmers to follow the Public Health Agency’s rules on social distancing.
