Christoffer Ehn reinforces Frölunda’s squad for the rest of the season.

Frölunda chooses to complement the squad with a player in the middle of the season and there are reasons.
“We know that we will be thin during the JVM period. We will have x number of players away. That is the big reason ”, explains Frölunda sporting director Fredrik Sjöström, the contract, for the rest of the season, with Christoffer Ehn:
“At the same time, we want to be clear. The situation is difficult and Christoffer has understood this. He has signed a very “team-friendly” contract.

Christoffer Ehn is the closest in the NHL and two straight seasons and 114 games for the Detroit Red Wings.
During the spring, summer and fall, the 24-year-old has been in Sweden and trained and therefore chooses to stay out of season.
“This is an opportunity for me. I want to keep developing and winning and I will do it in Frölunda. This is where I want to be, I thrive here, it’s safe and I hope I can contribute,” explains Ehn and thinks a bit about the type of player in which has become during his years in North America:
“I have become stronger, more solid and more mature. I have touched and sharpened my elbows.
Fredrik Sjöström likes this about his latest acquisition:
“He’s a cruel guy that we know well. Being a returnee is a lot of fun.”

Christoffer Ehn came to Frölunda as a junior in 2012, was part of the 2016 Swedish Championship gold-winning team and won the CHL in 2016 and 2017.
