The petitioner now has 32 requests for payment orders against the company. These debts, of approximately 400,000, affect companies like Postnord, DHL and Visma.
These companies require money for marketing and advertising production that has not been done.
According to an Aftonbladet source, the situation has become so critical that IvyRevel stopped paying wages to all employees.
Reconstruction Awarded
During Thursday, the Stockholm District Court will award a reconstruction of Ivyrevel.
Restructuring is an alternative to bankruptcy that companies with financial problems can file for.
In order for a rebuild to be awarded, the district court must consider that the business has a chance of long-term survival.
Confirmed payroll debt
The application to the Stockholm District Court confirms that IvyRevel has a payroll debt of 29 people.
In a text message to Aftonbladet he makes a statement Gustav Springdeldt, CEO of the company, on the situation:
“As is customary in a corporate restructuring, our employees are covered by a salary guarantee. This has also been communicated to all members of our team. The salary guarantee means that employees will receive their full salary but a few days later than usual ”
“I still firmly believe in Ivyrevel”
The loss of revenue for Ivyrevel must have been caused by the corona virus, the company states in the application before the Stockholm District Court.
“Like the rest of the fashion industry, the prevailing crown pandemic has hit us hard. Because of this, the only way forward is to rebuild Ivyrevel,” writes Kenza Zouiten Subosic in a text message to Aftonbladet.
She continues:
“We still strongly believe in Ivyrevel and what the future has to offer, but we will need to make some changes to the way the world looks today.”
