The two highest German soccer leagues will begin next weekend.
But after two players at Dynamo Dresden tested positive for the crown, the plan was laid out early.
– It is obvious that if this happens often enough, it will no longer be possible to complete the season, says league manager Christian Seifert.
Germany is the first of the major football leagues in Europe to start again and before next weekend, the Bundesliga and second league teams have been tested multiple times.
On Saturday, two unidentified players were tested at Dynamo Dresden, with Swedish duo Linus Wahlqvist and Alexander Jeremejeff in the squad, positive for the crown, and the entire team is in quarantine in two weeks.
“I wish it were different”
This means in a first position that the last two games of the first team in the second league are postponed.
The message raises questions about how the league can be played, but Bundesliga manager Christian Seifert says it doesn’t change the situation.

– I wish it had been different, of course, but it was clear that this could happen. For the second league, it means two games are established at this time, but we will not change our goal, the only plan is to complete the season, he tells ZDF.
Dynamo Dresden began their joint training on Thursday, but the players are now forced to continue with each other, even though league football will be running at the same time.
There is an obvious risk
Seifert sees an obvious risk if similar messages come from other teams in the future.
– The fact that two games have been affected so far does not mean that 2. The Bundesliga can continue, but it is obvious that if this happens often enough, it is no longer possible to end the season, he says.
There has been no soccer in Germany in two months. Dynamo Dresden would face Hannover 96 in its first match next Sunday, a team owned by Swedes John Guidetti and Miiko Albornoz.
