Several men are suspected of running a drug factory in a village in Askersund.

Later, the police attacked a village and blocked the address.
The house was used as an amphetamine factory.
Upon searching the building, according to information from Aftonbladet, about 100 kilos of amphetamine were found.
The site is also believed to have been used to make drugs, sources told Aftonbladet.

The prosecutor does not want to comment on the information.
– But I can say that it involves large amounts of drugs and that it was the recognition that led to the suspicions, says Karin Lindell.
For security reasons, due to the chemicals and substances, the rescue service also participated in the raid.
– It was an assessment that was made when the attack was going to occur, although there was no danger to the public, but it was an assessment based on the information that was available, says Karin Lindell.

Prosecutor: Very rewarding
Several people were arrested on suspicion of the giant seizure.
Three men, ages 28, 33 and 58, were subsequently arrested on probable cause, the highest degree of suspicion.
– Two are in custody on suspicion of a particularly serious drug offense and one for a serious drug offense. I do not want to comment further on the criminal suspicion.
The prosecutor cannot comment on any link to organized or international crime. Nor does it mean if the suspects are linked to any network.
– Obviously, it’s interesting to look around to see connections.

Recognition and cooperation between the different police regions led to the attack, according to informants.
How does police work continue?
– We are only at the beginning, but it continues with technical investigations that have not been completed. Then there is a lot of analysis of various things, so the preliminary investigation will take a long time.
Internally within the police, they are very satisfied with the finding.
– It is a large drug seizure that is taken off the streets, so it is very gratifying, I would like to say.
