Surveillance footage shows a young man being chased into a store in Ica, with a deep cut on his temple and eye.

He crouches next to a stool filled with oat milk before the men with knives leave.

The knife cut and two shootings are related to a conflict over the drug market in Fisksätra, reports TV3’s “Wanted”.

On Saturday 29 August a dramatic knife hunt took place in Fisksätra, in Nacka, outside Stockholm. Shows a feature of the TV3 show “Wanted”.

Surveillance footage shows a man in his 20s running for his life through downtown and to a store in Ica. According to Wanted, he is wounded in the head with a stab wound three inches deep, which went through the temple and the eye. The young man is being chased by three men while a fourth watches outside.

At least one of the hunters has a knife in his hand when they look down the aisles of the grocery store. Finally, they run out of the store, while the man wielding the knife hides among the groceries.

Gang ascended from Skåne

Knife hunting is one of three violent crimes related to a conflict over the drug market between two rival gangs.

– There are two important people who moved from Skåne a few years ago and settled in the area. And soon they began to enter the drug market, chamber prosecutor Sara Axelsson tells “Wanted.”

When a prominent member of the other gang was released from jail, the conflict broke out and violent crimes occurred.

  • On August 18, a total of 27 shots were fired at Fisksätra Centrum.

  • On August 26, nearby balconies were hit in a shootout in Ålgatan.

  • And at 5 pm on Saturday, August 29, the knife hunt took place at Fisksätra Centrum. Two men have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.

Looking for suggestions: “Very important”

The police and prosecutors need information and observations during the knife hunt and the two shots.

– I think you may be afraid to say if you have seen something, because you do not feel safe in the local environment. It is super important that people dare to speak to us. It is absolutely crucial for us to be successful in investigations. We cannot be eyes and ears everywhere, but it is the citizens who should speak with us, Karin Berggren, area manager for the local Nacka police told “Wanted.”

Wanted airs at 8:00 p.m. on TV3 on Thursday nights. During the broadcast, viewers can call the show; at other times, the police can be contacted on the telephone number 114 14.
