Suzanne, 52, and Lars, 61, were found murdered in their villa in Vallentuna.

Two 25-year-old men, who live in the area, have been detained for almost eight months as suspects in the act.

Today, investigators returned to the crime scene.

– I will not comment on who was present, says the prosecutor.

Last winter, the police were alerted about a villa in Vallentuna after a mysterious text message. There, Lars, 61, was shot and killed and his partner Suzanne, 52, was killed with plastic wrap around her head.

Police were quick to suspect that there was a motive for the theft because the man recently sold a family farm for 14 million SEK.

The man’s bank was contacted and police investigators discovered that electronic equipment, linked to the bank account, had been activated. According to sources at Aftonbladet, the information led the police to call one of the alleged double killers.

Has returned to the crime scene

In February, police raided a house near the couple’s villa. Two men, ages 26 and 28, were arrested at the scene and later arrested on suspicion of the double murder.

Investigators, lawyers and at least one of the suspects have returned to the crime scene. In recent weeks, two reconstructions have been carried out in the villa of the murdered couple. One was held sometime last week and the other on Monday, when uniformed police officers and several others moved to the scene in the afternoon.

The 28-year-old suspect’s attorney, Martin Cullberg, was involved in Monday’s reconstruction.

– My client was not present today, he says.

The 28-year-old suspect, on the other hand, was at the crime scene last week.

– That is absolutely correct. I will not comment further, says Martin Cullberg.

Unclear about the 26-year-old

It is unclear if the 26-year-old suspect was involved in any of the criminal reconstructions.

– It is confidential information that I can neither confirm nor deny, says the defense attorney for the 26-year-old, Björn Sandin.

No more visits to the crime scene are planned, according to Sandin.

– I haven’t been called to anyone. My hope is that the preliminary investigation is coming to an end and that prosecution can begin soon, she says.

Prosecution may start soon

Prosecutor Jenny Karlsson does not want to comment on the two reconstructions.

– I am not going to comment on who was present, it is under a preliminary investigation secret, he says.

According to Karlsson, an indictment may soon be brought against the two alleged double murderers.

– Hopefully yes, but I don’t know for how long, she says.

The two suspects deny all the charges, according to their lawyers.

Suzanne, 52, is said to have texted her friends at the local tennis club the same day she disappeared. “It was worded strangely, not written the way it would have been,” Tina, one of Suzanne’s tennis friends, previously told Aftonbladet.
