A field bus was attacked on the highway between San Antonio and Austin, Texas. According to the information, it was mostly around a hundred cars that chased, surrounded and possibly tried to stop the bus, belonging to the campaign for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. According to CNN sources, Wendy Davis was on board as campaigns to win a seat in the House of Representatives.

According to witnesses, the cars tried to stop the bus and pull it off the road. At one point, the speed of the bus on the highway had to be reduced to 30 kilometers per hour. The videos shared on Twitter show how aggressively the drivers acted. On at least one occasion, an escort car collided with one of the vans that were chasing the bus.

Campaign workers alerted the police and the bus was escorted to its destination. The incident led to the cancellation of several of Biden’s campaign meetings in Texas, and President Trump tweeted in response: I love Texas.

Donald Trump angered by FBI investigation into Joe Biden bus attack

Sources from both the Texas Tribune and CNN now say the FBI is investigating the incident as internal terrorism. But the president still chose to continue holding the event. In a speech Sunday, Trump claimed they were just protecting the bus. It is unclear from what threat the president believes that they protected the bus.

– Did you see our people … yesterday they protected the bus, because they are very nice people.

Later, another statement came on Twitter, in which the president angrily added that the FBI had confirmed they were investigating the attack.

“In my opinion, these patriots did nothing wrong,” he writes, adding that “the anarchists and anti-fascist agitators who set fire to our democratically controlled cities should be investigated instead.”
