Donald Trump has been tweeting allegations of electoral fraud for several days, without being able to present a single concrete evidence.
At the same time, the pressure is mounting to give up and accept that Joe Biden has won the presidential election.
The gap within the Republican Party
On Monday, 30 former members of Congress and Republicans demanded that Donald Trump accept electoral defeat and accused him of trying to undermine the legitimacy of the American electoral system.
World leaders such as Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and British Prime Minister Boris Johnson have congratulated Joe Biden and his vice president-elect Kamala Harris on their victory.
