Donald Trump announces on Twitter that he has no intention of participating when Joe Biden is sworn in.

At the same time, Nancy Pelosi demands that the president’s power be stifled during the last days of the term.

“The situation with this unbalanced president could not be more dangerous,” he writes.

The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi, wants to suppress the power of Donald Trump until January 20. In a letter addressed to the top US military leader, he said that Trump must be prevented from “starting a war” and “prevented from further damaging our democracy.”

Pelosi also expresses concern that Donald Trump has access to the codes necessary to start a nuclear war, writes the Washington Post.

That point of the letter is very clear: “Prevent an unbalanced president from using those nuclear weapons codes.” He also writes that he discussed the possibilities of preventing President Donald Trump from “ordering a nuclear strike.”

“We must do everything we can to protect the American people from their disturbed attack on our country and our democracy,” writes Nancy Pelosi.

The letter is written at a time when more and more people are demanding that Donald Trump be ousted after the assault on the Capitol, which cost five lives. Trump supporters who, after the president’s speech, went berserk and stormed Congress delayed approval of the election result on Wednesday.

However, after the police and the National Guard emptied and secured the congress, the meeting was able to resume and Joe Biden’s electoral victory was formally approved.

On January 20, Biden will begin his term.

President Donald Trump announced on Twitter today that he will not participate.

“For everyone who asked, I will not be attending the ceremony on January 20.”

Traditionally, the outgoing president attends the ceremony.

Nancy Pelosi says she now hopes that Republicans in Congress will follow in the footsteps of their representatives, those who “told Nixon it was time to resign,” and demands that Donald Trump be immediately removed from the presidency.

“If the president does not voluntarily leave office in the near future, Congress will take action,” writes Nancy Pelosi.

General Mark Milley’s spokesman claims the general received a request for help from Nancy Pelosi.
