On Friday, Trump’s lawyers sent a letter to the Republican National Committee, the Republican National Congress Campaign and the Republican National Senate Campaign asking them to stop using the former president’s name in emails that are used to raise money. One of his advisers, who believes Trump is sensitive to groups using his name for branding purposes, told Reuters.

According to the adviser, the former president is also upset that the groups have supported Republican congressmen who voted to bring Trump to justice, in the wake of the assault on Congress on January 6, when five people were killed.

Trump recovers raised money through the Save America organization to support selected Republican candidates ahead of the 2022 congressional elections.

Recently, there has been a rift in the Republican Party. Leading figures like Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell want to push Trump to the periphery, while Senator Lindsey Graham, on the other hand, believes that the future of the party hinges on Trump’s voter base.

Speaking at the conservative CPAC conference in Orlando last weekend, Trump hinted that he would run in the 2024 presidential election and Adam Kinzinger in the Republican primary.
