The police have carried out an extensive investigation into the rapes and attempted rapes that occurred in Rågsved in Stockholm last year.
“We really wanted to find him and we have taken a lot of investigative steps,” says Åsa Hansson, group manager for serious crimes in the south, according to a press release.

But a 23-year-old man who was arrested in late October on suspicion of various other sex crimes at Södermalm in Stockholm can now be linked to one of the assault rapes in Rågsved, which occurred on July 7 last year.
– The DNA impact dropped after he was arrested for the other crimes. I will also request that he be arrested for the “new” crime in Rågsved, says prosecutor Daniel Strand, who is leading the case.

– In one of them, I also claim kidnapping and robbery. For the other two attempted rapes, he is also in custody for attempted kidnapping, says Daniel Strand.

– I know that Rågsved is a case of recognition, so it has been investigated by the police. Of course, I have told the police to review the other cases, but they are not done with me yet.
