Elite soldier Deniz Arda has been missing from his home in central Stockholm since Friday 13 November.
On Wednesday, the police decided to investigate the disappearance during the criminal suspicion of alleged kidnapping, due to circumstances in which the police do not want to delve further.
Deniz Arda Googled “snow leopard”
The family has examined the activity logs of several of Deniz Arda’s apps and thus been able to secure his last known digital tracks before the 31-year-old is said to have set out on a five-mile run.
– It was at 11.17 am on November 13 that he saw a YouTube clip. The clip showed how to make an omelette. It may be a suitable dish before you go for a run, it’s fairly light and there’s plenty of protein, says Henrik Ehrenfeldt, who is the spokesman for the family in the disappearance and feverishly searching for his friend.
They also discovered that Deniz Arda had done an Internet search for “snow leopard” earlier that morning.
– We think you have been looking for a nice wallpaper. He had some of those keywords that he googled. But this is nothing more interesting to search than completely normal searches.
Friend: Deniz may have been unlucky and stumbled during the race
When Expressen talks to him on Thursday night, Henrik Ehrenfeldt is looking for the land in Sörmlandsleden.
– We are in a section that we think we can harvest when it gets dark. We are on a branch line to Sörmlandsleden, a distance that we think may be reasonable if you are going to run a longer race.
He does not rule out that Deniz Arda, despite being in very good physical shape, had bad luck and had stumbled and injured during the race.
– Something so deadly may have happened. But it is incomprehensible. Deniz is of the form and competence that has enough mental and physical capacity that even if he breaks his leg or falls off a cliff, he could still with his last efforts reach a place where he judges. they are more likely to meet, says Henrik Ehrenfeldt.
The tracks: exercise watch and reflective tape from the Swedish Armed Forces
On Wednesday, Expressen recounted a couple more leads in the disappearance. It is in part about the police requesting GPS data from the manufacturer of the Garmin-brand Deniz sports watch. However, the track seems to have turned into a dead end, as the watch’s positioning function relies on other devices to record its position, and Deniz Arda’s mobile phone was left in his apartment.
On the one hand, it was the discovery of a green reflective tape that was found in the Sörmlandsleden, between the Lida open-air estate and the Botkyrka golf course, on Wednesday morning of the type used by the Armed Forces.
On November 12, the day before Deniz Arda’s disappearance, he was filmed by surveillance camera at the Sats gym in Kocksgatan as he was there for an afternoon session.
