New tracks have appeared after Deniz Arda.

The day before the elite soldier disappeared without a trace, he shopped at a store in Ica in southern Stockholm.

Shows new surveillance movies that are published in “Wanted” tonight on TV3.

Professional soldier Deniz Arda, 31, has been missing since November 13 last year. His disappearance has sparked a great deal of commitment, prompted huge search efforts and a police investigation that is still ongoing.

Surveillance photos have shown that Deniz Ardas visited the Sats gym, on Kocksgatan in Södermalm, the day before he disappeared.

These have been the last known images of the elite soldier, until now.

An hour and a half after visiting Sats, he shopped at Ica Liljeholmen in southern Stockholm. It shows new surveillance videos that are posted on “Wanted” tonight.

The images show Deniz Arda putting items in the cash register. What he bought and where he went after is still unclear.

Police: Mystery

At 5.30 in the afternoon the next day, Deniz Arda wrote in a chat conversation with some friends that he was going for a run. But there the clues end.

The police have mapped the days leading up to Deniz Arda’s disappearance.

– Does not do anything that stands out from your daily routine. He trains, buys food, meets friends. When it comes to preliminary investigation and such a large task force with many specialized skills, every stone is turned. But in this case, it has been a bit mysterious what really happened, says Stefan Hammarroth in a serious crime in the city of Stockholm to “Wanted”.

Resigned from the investigation

Police also searched Deniz Arda’s computer and phone. There have been many interrogations with friends and family. Missing people and hundreds of other volunteers have made extensive search efforts along Sörmlandsleden, where Deniz used to run.

The police launched a preliminary investigation into the kidnapping shortly after the disappearance. But they haven’t come close to an answer, and now the investigation has narrowed.

It may happen that the work intensifies again, if the police receive new leads.

– The investigation has not been closed. It is good that they receive more advice. But as the situation is now, we have no further warnings, says Anders Bryngelsson, press spokesman for the Stockholm Police.

Deniz’s brother, Imren Arda, has been searching for his brother since he disappeared. He has not yet given up hope that Deniz will be found alive.

– Sometimes you sit down and fantasize that in the future I will receive a postcard saying “I’m fine” or “I feel good”, says Imren Arda in “Wanted”.
