The match at Stora Valla was what is generally called a six-point match, when league-leading Degerfors hosted the third J-Södra in the 17th round of Superettan.
With an away win, the distance between the teams had been reduced to two points; now, however, Degerfors is eight points behind the Smålanders in the standings.
Like so many times Earlier this season, it was the razor-sharp Degerfors trio that was behind the win. Johan Bertilsson worked well on the left wing and served Victor Edvardsen for 1-0 already in the third minute. The third link in the chain, Villiam Dahlström, nodded kindly and selflessly towards the talented Mount Gustav Granath for his 2-0 nod in the 55th minute.
And there would be more of the rojiblanco attacking trio.
J-Södra admitted he found the goal twice in the second half, but between shots Johan Bertilsson and Villiam Dahlström scored 3-1 and 4-1 in a couple of minutes.
Degerfors stands at 37 points and with the clearly hottest offense in the series he has scored so many goals. Not surprisingly, dreams of a return to Swedish futsal are growing stronger in the small industrial town of Värmland. Table runner-up Halmstad, also in the promotion area, remains in the shadow of three points after a 3-0 away from AFC Eskilstuna.
